In this video I demo how to weave a quick strap or belt, suitable for tumplines, and backpacks such as the Roycroft Pack Frame using sisal. Sisal (pronounced sigh-suhl) is made from the fibers of the sisal plant, a type of agave plant that primarily is grown in Brazil. This weaving pattern is similar to how rice-straw sandals called "waraji" (??) are made.

SORRY - There are no steps for this How-To. Please check back later. Or drop me a line at TheUrbanAbo@gmail.com to let me know you wanna see this one fleshed out.
